FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

About the game, accounts and investigations.

Are the cases real?

No. CASE//ZERO uses fictional victims, suspects, organisations and criminal events. Malaysian locations are used as settings and atmosphere.

Does the AI decide who the killer is?

No. Each case has a predetermined solution. AI is used to perform suspect dialogue within the case rules; it does not choose or change the culprit.

Do I need an account?

No. Every case can be played as a guest. An account is optional and is useful if you want to preserve your solved cases, XP, rank, notes and scores across devices.

How long is one investigation?

Each attempt has a ten-minute investigation window. You can start a new attempt after the previous one closes.

Can an innocent suspect lie?

Yes. Some characters hide unrelated secrets or misconduct. A lie is evidence that a statement is unreliable, not automatic proof of murder.

How is the final accusation evaluated?

The game checks the accused suspect, motive and supporting evidence against the authored case solution. Strong cases require more than simply selecting the correct name.

Are the cases paid?

No. The current case library is free to play, including guest play. Payment and ad-removal upgrades are temporarily unavailable while the advertising setup is under review.

Will ads interrupt interrogation?

No. CASE//ZERO intentionally keeps Google-served ads out of active investigation and post-accusation result screens.

Does CASE//ZERO use generated content?

The game uses AI for conversational suspect performance. Case structure, evidence relationships and the canonical solution are controlled by the game data.

Can I replay a solved case?

Yes. A solved case can be revisited, although knowing the solution naturally changes the challenge.
