DISPATCH 00:17
A call-quality auditor dies beside her desk while a 00:17 recording appears to place the shift supervisor somewhere he may never have been.
Dispatch 00:17 is a communications-centre mystery built from recorded calls, SIP routing, floor cameras and audit trails. The case turns an apparently perfect audio alibi into a network-path problem.
The premise
Call auditor Leong Jia Hui is found dead in Quality Assurance Room 2 after midnight. A call stamped 00:17 appears to prove the shift supervisor was still at the main console, but the audio contains routing metadata from a private emergency contractor. Jia Hui had been tracing priority calls that were quietly diverted away from the public queue and then rewritten in the incident record.
What the player is trying to establish
Determine whether the 00:17 call is a genuine alibi, reconstruct the hidden call-routing path, and identify who killed Jia Hui to protect a private diversion scheme.
Players must understand how a call can sound internally handled while travelling through an external gateway, then connect the hidden route to money and physical evidence.
Investigation skills this case rewards
- Call-routing reconstruction
- Audio-alibi testing
- Digital audit interpretation
- Financial conflict analysis
Spoiler-free investigation notes
- A voice in a recording proves participation, not necessarily location.
- Routing metadata can contradict what the archived call appears to show.
- Clear the vendor and training-room timelines before deciding who could reach QA Room 2.
The playable case uses a fixed solution, cloud-saved progress and a ten-minute attempt window. You will need an account so the investigation state can be saved.
