DO NOT DISTURB
A corporate lawyer is found dead in Suite 1806 after a private settlement meeting, and one page in the signed agreement does not match the rest.
Do Not Disturb is a polished Kuala Lumpur hotel mystery. Its clues move between a luxury suite, service lift, lobby, printer records and hotel key infrastructure. The surface looks controlled and professional; the contradictions are hidden in systems designed to look routine.
The premise
Harith Roslan is found dead in the bathroom of Suite 1806 after a private settlement meeting. The room appears locked, a glass panel is shattered, and a signed agreement on the desk contains a page that does not match the rest of the document.
What the player is trying to establish
Work out who returned to the suite after the meeting, what was altered in the settlement papers, and which lie was built around the hotel access logs.
Players need to determine who could have returned to the suite, why a replacement contract page was created and whether hotel access logs support or undermine the suspects' statements. The document trail is as important as the physical scene.
Investigation skills this case rewards
- Document anomaly detection
- Hotel access-log analysis
- Video timeline comparison
- Following a financial diversion
Spoiler-free investigation notes
- A locked-room appearance can be created by ordinary access systems.
- Printer logs are useful only when connected to a person and a timeline.
- The most obvious financial stakeholder is not automatically the person who altered the agreement.
The playable case uses a fixed solution, cloud-saved progress and a ten-minute attempt window. You will need an account so the investigation state can be saved.
